Allergies are a very common occurrence all around the world, and as you know if you have suffered from them, they can be quite annoying.
They can cause reactions like runny nose, itchy rashes, watery eyes or even digestive issues. They can be a real pain to deal with!
Luckily, essential oils can be a great, natural way for us to find allergy relief. Essential oils are nature’s little miracle that can help us almost instantly reduce inflammation and stop nasty reactions on their tracks.
And you won’t need any synthetic drugs that can sometimes do more harm than good to your body!

Lavender essential oil is perfect for treating skin rashes or headaches brought on by your fall allergies. It will help reduce and ease your allergic reactions, and it also has a calming and relaxing effect on both body and mind.
Plus, it smells great :)!
You can use Lavender oil topically, diffuse it or inhale it:
Topically - You can add 1 drop of lavender oil to your forehead, sinuses and cheeks, to reduce headaches or allergic reactions. A few minutes before bed, you can add a few drops to the soles of your feet.
Lavender oil can be used undiluted without risk, but you should always try it on a small patch of skin before you apply it if you have a sensitive skin. You can never be too careful!
You can also dilute it in a carrier oil like almond, jojoba or coconut.
Diffuser - Lavender can also be used in a cold diffuser! Add a few drops to a diffuser necklace to enjoy the scent with you all day.
One suggestion is to diffuse every 2 hours for 15 minutes. Lavender also works great promoting a better night’s rest. What's not to love?
Inhalation - This one’s easy :). Simply add 1 to 2 drops of lavender oil to the palms of your hands and rub them together. Cup them over your nose and take 4-6 deep and slow breaths.
This will help you feel better in no time!
Eucalyptus essential oil has fantastic properties that help support the respiratory system.
It is well known to ease asthma attacks and it is especially potent at soothing seasonal allergies.
Eucalyptus is most effective when applied through inhalation. Remember, simply rub 1 to 2 drops of eucalyptus oil into the palms of your hands and rub them. Cup them over your nose and take 4-6 deep and slow breaths.
The soothing feeling of inhaling eucalyptus oil is pretty much unmatched :)
Peppermint essential oil has a fresh, strong and minty aroma that can soothe allergic reactions like magic. It is particularly useful in soothing allergies that cause digestive or respiratory issues.
It will help you improve breathing and ease congestion in no time. It’s one of my favorites!
It has cooling, soothing and pain-relieving properties.
You can also use it topically by applying 1 drop of peppermint to the base of your neck 2 times a day.
Peppermint oil is another especially potent oil when applied in a cold diffuser. It's great to add to your diffuser jewelry to help you breathe deeper while you're out and about.
